Lynn Stars boosted by continued sponsorship

THE Lynn Stars have received a massive pre-season boost after agreeing a main title sponsorship deal with Roger Warnes Transport.

Bulk-tipping hauliers Roger Warnes sponsored the Stars last season during their memorable treble-winning campaign.

Lynn 'Roger Warnes Transport' Stars promoter Keith 'Buster' Chapman is

extremely pleased to have forged links with the company for yet another season.

Chapman said: "It was hard starting the 2009 season without a team sponsor but thankfully two months into the season Roger Warnes came forward.

"With them on board, the season continued to go from strength-to-strength with us completing a league, trophy and KO Cup treble.

"Fast forward 12 months on and it is great that they have decided to renew their sponsorship with us.

"The team, management and myself are extremely grateful for their continued support."

Roger Warnes Transport, who are based in Dunham, insist that it is more than just the team's success that has inspired them to continue with

their sponsorship.

Transport manager Neville Alderton said: "Of course it is great to see the team win so many competitions as the publicity for our company

increases as a result.

"But it is the team spirit and off-track community work that has impressed us the most.

"We really admire everything the club stands for and we are extremely proud to be associated with the Lynn Stars once again."

Managing director Roger Warnes offered some words of encouragement to the team ahead of the new season, which starts next month.

Warnes said: "We wish Keith, Rob and all of the riders the best of luck and success in 2010.

"If they can retain any of the trophies they did so well to win last season then they will have completed something remarkable that neither I or anybody is expecting!".

The Stars have a few advertising and sponsorship opportunities still available for the 2010 season which commences in March.

If any company is interested in enquiring about these then please call the team on 01553 771111.
