LYNN’S Kuk Sool Won School are celebrating a third successive European success.

The school were crowned European Champions at Lynnsport, on Saturday, defeating their nearest rivals by more than 200 points.

There were many personal achievements from the school’s 133 students, including four Grand Champions, three of which came from the same family.

School instructor Darren Brown, a fifth degree master, said: “It is another fantastic achievement for our school and the West Norfolk community as a whole.

“All of our 113 students have worked so hard and their hard work and training has paid off once again.”

During the weekend, the school welcomed kuk sool won grand master Hyuk Suh’ and his two sons, master Sung Jin Suh and master Alex Suh to West Norfolk.

This year, two sixth dahn masters from the United States Of America accompanied them – master Jack Harvey, from St Louis, and Master Gary Evarts from Rochester..

The two-day competition culminated in a back belt and masters exhibition, featuring more than 100 black belts from schools within the UK, Ireland, Norway, Spain and Holland.
