On Thursday, February 26 the Adapted Sports Day is being held at Lynnsport.

The special sports day gives children (8-16 years old) with disabilities the chance to take part in cricket, curling, goalball and racket skills sessions all led by specialist coaches from Top Coaching, King’s Lynn Community Football and the College of West Anglia.

The sessions are a fun introduction to the sports and activities provided by Alive Lynnsport’s regular clubs for children with disabilities (Mini Kandoo, Kandoo and Ability Counts).
Over 100 children, supported by teachers and carers, are expected to take part on the day from 12 local schools. The day will begin with a full group warm-up at 10am and smaller group sessions will take place from 10am–noon.

Following the sports, there will be a brief certificate presentation and a chance for children, carers and teachers to find out about local clubs and activities.
