IBA Ltd KLTTA week 26

Wisbech Wizards returned to form with a 10-0 win against Wisbech.

Despite some close games from Jerry Irving and Dan Vertigan, Brett Heppenstall, Alan Ashberry and Grant Brighty remained unbeaten.

Topspynn followed suit with their own 10-0 win against Wisbech Hawks. Despite some close games Karl Brown, Richard Johnson and Ross Brown proved too strong.

Third placed Pegg Scaffolding had Wayne Mason, Johnny Reavell and Martin Skipper to thank for a 7-3 win against Wasps.Mike Crowson two wins and Steve Goodale one responded for Wasps.

Ziggys had a 7-3 win against St. James with Gary Hewitt and Allan Ashberry scoring 3.5 points each. Owen Turner, Mark Pearman and Alan Jones provided resistance with wins against John Blyth.

James and Mollie Patterson were unbeaten and Aaron Howell added 1.5 points in their 8-2 win against Avengers. Martyn Allen and Richard Mussett won a game each and Jim Defty was unlucky not to get on the scorecard.

Top team Ambit Projects were held to a draw by Greenfingers this week with Graham Keeley and Stuart Frost scoring 2.5 points each.

David Whitby 2, Jeff Chung 2 and Lewis Baldock 1 managed to retain Ambit’s unbeaten record.

Peter Fysh scored a maximum for Swaffham Terriers and Peter Nunn and Keith Richardson added a win each in a close fought draw with Runcton B. Clive Sandle and David Lane scored 2.5 points each for Runcton.

Wasps 2 hang on to second place after beating Spin Doctors 8-2. Igors Scekalevs and Mick Forth were unbeaten for Wasps and Gary and John Wiggs responded with a win each for the Doctors against David Hughes.

Runcton Holme are in third place after a 7-3 win against Paul’s Driving School. John Mingay starred for Runcton with 3-5 points with Nick Osborne 2.5 and Melvyn Jupp 1 adding support. Phil Brown’s 2 wins and Paul Barrett 1 was in response for Paul’s.

A Danny Vertigan maximum plus a win each for Ben Peacock and Alex Bragg secured a draw for Blades against Heacham A.

Leigh McDonald and David Woolley scored 2.5 points each for Heacham.
