King’s Lynn United hosted Wymondham on Sunday.

United Men won 4-3 with 24.26 team average: Roger Berney opened, winning 3-2 with 25.30av (106gs, 2x140, 135, 3x100); Pat Dix (142gs, 2x140, 125, 3x100) lost 2-3 although he was unwell; Craig Venman won 3-0 with 25.47av (2x140, 2x100); MoM Anton Liscsey won 3-0 with 28.36av (180, 139, 118, 3x100).

Brian Goffart won the decider 3-1 with 27.42av (3x140, 7x100) after resting in the third leg and finished the game in the fourth with a 14-dart leg.

United Ladies played against Norfolk Ladies’ heavy artillery. Beth Knevett (125, 100) took a leg off Dawn Standley; Sandra Knevet 17.98av (140, 100) took a leg off Steph Mudd 19.95av (2x140, 2x100).

l On Sunday the King’s Lynn teams visited Seadell, Hemsby.

The men were unlucky to lose 4-3 with wins from MoM Mark Easter, Martin Wake and Terry Parker, whilst the ladies were also unlucky, losing 4-0.
