Norfolk Superleague Darts

King’s Lynn United hosted Norwich on Sunday.

United Men won 4-3: Roger Berney, MoM 24.51av, opened by beating Kevin Rudling 3-1. Ian Withers next fell 1-3 to Norwich MoM Paul Daniels, 28.05av; Craig Venman beat 3-1 Rob Ellis who hit 2x180; Ady Johnson beat Darren Brown 3-1; Shaun Bitson hit 180 among his nine tons but was pipped 2-3 by Kevin Peacher; Pat Dix (105gs and 120gs) beat Rob Blowers 3-0. Anton Liscsey hit 10 ton-plusses in the final game but incredible finishing from Simon Francis, 92gs and 105gs, took the first two legs. Anton fought back but was beaten 2-3.

Lynn United Ladies drew 2-2. Sandra Knevett (100) won 3-1 from Sandra Hawkins (120); Alison Ransom LoM 15.66av (3x100) won 3-0 from Christine Grimwood; Becky Cullen (115) lost 1-3 to Mandy Gray (135 2x100 134); Karen Johnson lost 0-3 to Norwich LoM Julie Schlindler 17.08av (2x100). Youth game: Callum Wilson (100, 2x140) beat Steve Woods 3-0.
