Fakenham increased their lead at the top of the Dipple and Conway Norfolk Alliance Premier to 33 points but the heavy weekend rain frustrated their chances of forcing a result at local side Stow.

South African all-rounder Chad Bowes smashed an undefeated 130, dominating an opening stand of 200 with Luke Findlay (80) when posting 216 for one.

Stow finished on 127 for four in the reduced time available and Fakenham picked up 16 points from a winning draw.

Their rivals Sprowston could only pick up six points.

Fakenham entertain reigning champions Downham Town on Saturday (August 1).
