Mollie Patterson helped England to win a table tennis team bronze medal at the Cadet Six Nations competition in France.
The 13-year-old from Brancaster Staithe joined Charlotte Bardsley, Gauri Duhan and Denise Payet in the squad to take on teams from Germany, Sweden, Denmark and two from hosts France.
They beat France B and Germany 6-4 and Denmark 10-0 and lost 6-4 to champions France A.
A 5-5 draw with Sweden meant the two nations finished with seven points, and Sweden edged the silver medals on countback, with 378 points to England’s 361.
In the individual events, Smithdon High School pupil Patterson won two out of five matches to finish fifth in her group, missing out on a quarter-final place.
