Can you be tempted to set sail in 2016? Well, Snettisham Beach Sailing Club in 2015, provided upwards of 600 opportunities for getting afloat from various coaching sessions and other events.
If you want to have a go, you need to be at least 8 years old (or 5 if a member of the club).
Anyone can go on courses except Kickstart, Ducklings and Cadet Week which are for members only. When joining the club then discounts apply to course charges, and you can join at any time.
There are sessions for all abilities in Cadet Week. Powerboat and Sailing courses start in April and the season runs through to October.
The Open Day on Saturday, May 14 is free where there will be free joyrides and sailing tasters.
At other times £40 for the two-hour taster session is the most economical way to have a trial sail. Onboard sessions on Sunday mornings for children (8-15) are an ideal way for non-members to try sailing.
The club is at Snettisham Beach, Norfolk PE31 7RB; see http://www.snetbeach.co.uk/pages/the-club/how-to-find-us.php
