In the Norfolk Superleague Darts, King’s Lynn United travelled to Seadell, Hemsby last Sunday and the men won 5-2.

A 3-1 win for Brian Goffart, 3x140, 4x100; Pat Dix 3-0, 125, 4x100; Craig Venman 3-1, 26.22av, 180, 125, 120, 4x100. Roger Berney, the MoM, won 3-0, 26.83av, 180, 135, 130, 125, 100. Steve Carrett (7x100) won a dramatic game where his opponent finished with 108 shot out to go to last leg but Carrett clinched it with 96 shot out in two darts.

With Shirley’s opponent finishing strong in the fifth leg and Becky Cullen’s opponent hitting 180 the United ladies knew they had a match on and lost games 3-2, 3-1, 3-2, 3-1 but Sandra Knevett managed a 3-0 win in the fifth game.

United are away on November 8 to Thetford at The Railway Tavern – Station Road, IP24 1AH, 6pm draw.
