With the best two stableford scores on each hole counting and all three counting on the par 3’s, every team member had their part to play and there was a tie between two teams on 83 points.
Ladies captain Rachel Hodgkinson presented prizes with the help of ladies handicap committee member Jill Sayer. With an eagle two on the par 4 hole 3, Norfolk county golf development officer Karen Woodrow had helped her team of Hodgkinson and Monica Foskett into the tied first position. With countback of 43 on the back nine against 41 they also took the victory.
Hodgkinson commented: “We could not have asked for a more perfect summer’s day. A huge thank you to everyone who contributed in making it a very successful day.”
