Calling all Parkrunners, beginners and improvers: Athletics Norfolk has organised a workshop on Sunday for individuals who would like some help and advice to reduce their 5km time.

Double Olympian and Chicago Marathon winner, Paul Evans, leads the sessions which take place in Lynn.

The sessions are open to male and females aged 18 years-plus and are targeted at beginners or improvers. No matter what your ability or pace, each workshop will be differentiated to suit all individuals and no one will be expected or asked to work beyond their limits.

Led by Evans, each workshop will include a practical training session (please come prepared in appropriate sportswear and dressed for the weather conditions), followed by an informative Q & A seminar. Having made the transition from professional athlete to athletics coach, Evans has a wealth of experience and knowledge to motivate, encourage and help you achieve your goals.

It all takes place on Sunday 10am-noon at The Walks in Lynn (meet at the Café). The sessions are heavily subsidised by funding from England Athletics and therefore it is just £10 to attend.

Contact Kate Bamfield, Athletics Norfolk Coordinator, who will be happy to take bookings or to answer any queries you may have.
