It has been a busy August for Honda Cadet driver Oliver Clarke who has competed in two more rounds of the Super One British Championships.
Early in the month the series raced at Rissington near Oxford and the Downham-based driver finished the final in second place after a tricky weekend with points flying between all drivers in the heats and finals.
He dropped to second in the championship table by just six points.
The second August round took place on the bank holiday weekend at Whilton Mill near Daventry.
Good results in the heats and the pre-final saw Oliver close the gap on his nearest rival and an excellent win in the rain in the final saw him return to the top of the table to lead the field by 14 points.
Clarke said: “I am delighted to be back at the top of the table.
“The Honda Cadet class is very competitive and with only two rounds left to go I needed to gain a lead again.”
This Whilton Mill round will be aired on Motors TV on Monday, September 21 and then uploaded to Youtube on the Super One channel.
Oliver is a pupil at Iceni Academy.
He is in the BRK race team and is looking for sponsors so he can start racing in Europe too.
