Kit, wearing the Norfolk vest for the first time, finished a very credible 35th in his race, while Rosie ran well for fifth place in hers.

l Ryston Runners AC members and friends had the chance to stretch their legs over 15 miles on Sunday at the club’s annual Mad Hare event.

Originally set up to give those with a spring marathon target the chance to get in a good paced longer run, the event this year attracted two dozen Ryston members and a couple of friends (finishers 24 and 25) and was run in very pleasant spring like conditions.

Organiser Martin Ive thanks all who helped with and supported the run.

Top three: Matt Allen 1.37, Martin Sheldrick 1.40, Simon Able 1.40.
