East District Cycling Association Awards 2015 (EDCA)

Two King’s Lynn Cycling Club members Kay Burgess and Gavin Costick were presented with awards at the EDCA annual lunch which took place at Carbrooke Village Hall near Watton on Sunday.

Both were presented with the Handicap Award Medals by Derek Lusher from British Cycling. This was in recognition for their performance on a 25 mile time trial on the B25/6 near Wisbech which took place in June 2015.

Burgess received the Gold Award and Costick the Bronze. Some KLCC members cycled out to the event.

On Sunday, February 21 at 9am Alive Lynnsport in Lynn sees KLCC hosting their Annual Reliability Ride. With two routes to choose from, a 100k and a 50k, the object of a ride is to get back to headquarters at Lynnsport within the allocated time limit.

Departures: 100k Cappuccino Group at 9am, target time being 4hr 10 4hr 45. Espresso Group 9.15am, target 3hr 30 to 4hr 05. 50k: Cappuccino Group 9.30am, 2hr 10 to 2hr 40. Espresso Group 9.45am, 1hr 40 to 2hr 10.
