Entries are now closed for the King’s Lynn Cycling Club Road Race on Sunday, October 18, 10.30am.

Race headquarters is by kind permission of Holly Meadows School in Pott Row. This event will see 70 riders race through the villages of Grimston, Gayton and Great Massingham. It was over-subscribed with over 80 entries and promises to be a very competitive spectacle.

This weekend with the weather being sunny and dry, many KLCC members cycled in sportives further afield and socially, too.

Some KLCC members took part in a Cycle Sportives UK event called The Norfolk Sportive. This started from Easton College near Norwich with three routes, 25, 50 and 100 miles.

The regular local KLCC Sunday morning social ride this week went to Wells Beach Cafe. These rides are at 8.30am from The Sandboy at Bawsey car park in different speed groups. For more information see www.kingslynncyclingclub.co.uk
