This weekend’s stock car and banger racing action at Lynn’s Adrian Flux Arena features four formulas with plenty of local drivers set to take to the track.
Proceedings begin at 6pm tomorrow with racing for two-litre saloon stock cars, two-litre bangers, lady bangers and junior bangers.
The stock car entry includes Heacham’s Willie Skoyles Jr, who has rediscovered his form since a drop to blue grade last month.
A race win last time out helped lift Skoyles to sixth in the track championship standings.
Chris Masters (also Heacham) will be hoping to rediscover the form that took him to the best result of his debut year so far, when he placed fifth in a heat on May 2.
The two-litre bangers contest their annual Norfolk Team Championship, defended by popular entertainers the Mad Hatters, who will once again be making the relatively short trip from Lincolnshire.
For the lady bangers, it is British Championship time.
Lynn drivers Kate Calver and Kay Atter are both seeking their first major title in the formula.
They will have to beat a number of former winners if either of them is to add their name to the championship honours board.
The junior banger entry is headed by Wisbech-based English Champion Wayne Cottrill.
