Lowestoft Railway 4

After a lengthy break from league hockey Pelicans settled into some great passing and soon carved out a chance which Ella Scott slotted home from close range.

Some Lowestoft aggressive moves were contained by Ellie Bower and Kate Lemon in defence. Lowestoft eventually scored an equaliser but Pelicans stepped up a gear and ran riot.

Izzy Pope scored the second with an exquisite deflection, Aoife McGovern followed shortly after with a far post tap-in and Scott scored her second just before the break.

In the second half Kate Willis made her debut with some great runs.

Pelicans dominated with more strong teamwork and great passing hockey as Scott bagged another four goals and Pope was rewarded with a second. Lowestoft scored three late consolation goals.
