Norfolk Superleague Darts side King’s Lynn United, sponsored by Splinters DIY, were away on Sunday to Great Ryburgh.

KL United Men won 5-2. Anton Liscsey kicked off, beating Paul Brown 3-0. MoM Roger Berney, with 24.64av, won 3-0, staying top of the league averages,

Steve Carrett won 3-1, 15 darts 1st leg (114 shot out), then Craig Venman won 3-1 in a great battle with Dave Wallace. Ryburgh’s MoM Glenn West 26.44av beat Shaun Bitson 3-2. United’s Ady Johnson won 3-0 from John Cooper who hit 180. Brian Goffart made a bold fight back but lost 1-3 to Ian King. Callum Wilson hit 108 shot out.

United Ladies won 3-1. Winning 3-0 were Sandra Knevett and Alison Ransom, LoM, 15.82av, 132, 135, 2x100.

Despite Beth Knevett hitting 138 and 100 she lost 2-3. Becky Cullen won 3-1 with a confident quick finish in the fourth leg against Diane Saint.

l The King’s Lynn teams entertained Great Yarmouth on Sunday, with the men’s team losing 2-5 with wins from MoM Mark Easter and Michael Sands. Easter also hit a 180.

The ladies drew 2-2 with wins from debutant Sharon Smith and Tracey Baldwin. Baldwin had a 104 shot out, but the game of the night was by Yarmouth’s Elaine Varney, who averaged 20.08.
