Lynn martial artists tasted success at the TAGB (Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain) English Championships 2016 at the Worcester Arena.

Some 16 fighting areas ran throughout the day with well over 1,500 competitors and 400 officials.

This competition is the second biggest of the year with the British Championships being even larger.

Some 48 students, 40 spectators and 16 officials from the Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do attended this tournament – with Pattern, Sparring, Destruction and Team Sparring events during the day.

A massive total of 24 medals were won.

Lynn results: Jason Fitzgerald Boys Red Belt Team Sparring 1st; Mark Fitzgerald Boys Green Belt Team Sparring 1st; Suzanne Fitzgerald Girls Green Belt Sparring 2nd, Green Belt Team Sparring 3rd; Alaina Hardy Ladies Red Belt Sparring 1st; Ryan Kirby Mens Blue Belt Sparring 2nd; Harry Russell Boys Red Belt Sparring 2nd, Red Belt Team Sparring 1st; James Russell Cadet Male Black Belt Sparring 2nd.

The Mark Farnham Schools are now preparing for their next event which will be the Welsh Championships in Cardiff in May.
