Diss 25 West 29

West Norfolk came back from 25–12 down.

With the Wisbech Grammar School on a trip, West were short of numbers, but with the help of Angus Williams and Harvey Cross from the Under 13s managed 14 players.

With the hard working forwards guaranteeing possession gaps opened up and the strong running Dawson Hunter burst through to score under the posts, Angus Williams adding the conversion.

More West pressure, a scrappy clearance kick from Diss, superbly caught by Harvey who then jinked inside and quick hands put Dawson in for his second score.

Diss scored twice, to make the half-time score 10–12 to West.

Dawson Hunter needed to get some treatment meaning West started the second half with just 13 players and Diss, using the slope, kicked into space to score two quick unconverted tries. A last ditch tackle came from Alex Warrington before Diss scored again.

However Tom Hitchcock replied with a hat-trick, Williams adding one conversion.

Squad: Ralph Alvarez, Brad Gallacher (captain), Josh Ward, Dawson Hunter, Connor Clarke, Morgan Smith, Tom Hitchcock, Angus Williams, Oli Spurrier, Connor Warrington, Liam Mccallum, Ed Dew, Harvey Cross, Alex Warrington.
