Monday was Seniors Captain’s Day at Middleton Hall Golf Club, one of the highlights of its golfing and charity year, and was a huge fund-raising success.
Seniors captain, Malcolm Doughty (pictured centre) thanked all those taking part for their generosity in raising £250 for his nominated charity, the Lynn and District Branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
On the golf course, the event was played in glorious sunshine, helping to produce some excellent scores.
Pat Hoban (pictured right) won the ladies competition for the Dorothy Gorton Cup with a score of 35 points. Lorna Turnbull was second with 34 points, narrowly beating Soo Khoo on count-back who was third, also on 34.
Paul Thurston (pictured left) won the men’s competition with a score of 42 points, just enough on count-back to leave Barry Fox second, also on 42 points, and Iain MacDuff third on 41.
