The C Final of the Junior Fenland League took West Norfolk SC to Newmarket, to battle it out with four other teams.

West Norfolk produced some spirited swims throughout the evening, showing their usual determination and effort. Erica Charters was victorious in both the 10/under 50m breast and backstroke. Ellie Shepperson scored maximum points with two fine swims in the 12/under and 11/under 50m back and breaststroke.

Molly Sharpe took first in the 13/u 50m freestyle, and Abigail Richings won the same age group 100m individual medley.

The boys were scoring maximum points too. Thomas Owen was impressive, winning the 10/u 50m breaststroke. Harry Sharpe matched his sister with a win in the 11/u 50m breaststroke, and Jake Harvey won the same event for the 13/u age group.

The whole team would like to thank Chris Sykes for coaching duties on the night and encouraging some great performances. Huge thanks also to Kim Bryan, Nicola Dobing, and Jane Sharpe for stepping in to time keep and marshall.

Final result: 1 First Strokes 152 points; 2= Bottisham and St Neots 129; 4 WNSC 122; 5 March 111.
