A fairly good week for Lynnsport IBC, Stephen Winters and Mikey Rowbotham reached the area semi-finals in the men’s pairs.

The same two players plus Ian Whiley and Tom Baker reached the semi-finals of the men’s four where they will play another Lynnsport block of Adam Martell, Mo Moseley, Roger Samson and Peter Chestney.

At the weekend Winters went down to Hayling Island to take part in the national champion of champions.

He progressed through the first round and then lost to former Norfolk player Jamie Chestney (ranked 14 in the world).

Nicole ‘Minnie’ Moseley and guest player Lois Woodward entered the Pentney under 16 open singles competition on Saturday. In the semis Nicole lost to Lois, who went on to win the title.

On Sunday they both entered the U25 open singles competition. Both girls had a good run, and lost in the semi-finals.

On Saturday Lynnsport “A” were beaten by a very strong home County Arts side in the Norfolk EBA Premier League.
