Pictured are participants at the King’s Lynn Cycling Club Go Ride Racing Event which took place at Lynnsport track and field on Tuesday last week.
At this evening event the children were challenged with the experiences of numerous off road racing skills.
Allison Bingham (parent/helper) said: “The children enjoyed a variety of races that included a scratch race, a Le Mans Race and a staggered race. The races were split between girls and boys as well as races for all participants.
“The children had to race against each other, and against the clock. In the Le Mans Race the children were taken onto the track at Lynnsport and had to run to their bikes, the older children starting further away. This caused a traffic jam and lots of laughter! The course was well set out offering straights and corners and there were some very muddy children at the end.”
The winner of the girls’ races was Florence Barnett and for the boys Tye Rugg.
The next Go Ride Racing Event is on Tuesday starting at 6pm at Lynnsport. Cost: £4 per entry.
