KLCC member Kersten Muller took part in the inaugural L’Etape bike event in London covering 120 miles organised by the Tour De France Organisation which followed stage 2014 Tour De France Route.

The race started in Lee Valley Velo Park.

Plans are in the very final stages of KLCC’s 50 mile road race which takes place on Sunday, October 18.

This race will start from Grimston leaving race headquarters at Holly Meadows School, Vong Lane, Pott Row at 10.30am.

It’s expected to see up to 70 riders racing through a four-lap course near Grimston, Gayton and Great Massingham. It’s planned that the National Escort Motorbike Group will lead the riders around the course with support vehicles kindly provided by Skoda cars from Walkers Garage based in Lynn.

Riders will be able to compete for prizes of King of the Mountains and sprint. Other sponsors are Sealskinz of King’s Lynn, West Norfolk Insurance Services, The Insurance Office and Richardsons cycles.
