King’s Lynn Fury bring in Allen

Lynn Fury Basketball Club have announced the signing of Ethan Allen.

Allen, who stands at six foot five inches, is a combo guard and becomes Fury’s second contracted player on a semi-professional deal.

The Canadian born youngster first moved to Norfolk, aged 17, and played his first national league game for the club in 2012.

After leaving the club, he was awarded a place at an professional Italian Academy during 2015.

He returned to Fury and was voted defensive player of the year with his performances during an 11-game winning streak.

Allen, pictured above, said: “I’m excited to be working with the coaching staff at Fury, Mike Ebanks and head coach James Bamfield.

“Theyhave done an amazing job at the club and are well respected nationally.

“I’m determined to take on more responsibility and I’m hungry to help lead this club to promotion.”

Head coach Bamfield said: “I want to thank Aven Ltd and Giedrius Venckunas for their continued support as without their significant investment in Fury Basketball this would not be possible.”
