The King’s Lynn Roller Hockey Club Under 11 home tournament was held at Alive Lynnsport on Saturday.

The U11s won one game out of four. The first match was against Rickmansworth, which Lynn won 5-0. Ria Griffin and Joshua Futter scored in the first half; Miles Hovell, Keaton Vincent and Ria in the second half.

The next game, a 1-3 loss against Ely, was very fast paced. Joshua scored Lynn’s only goal. This was Alfie Poppy’s first ever tournament as a goalkeeper and he saved multiple shots.

Joe Crawford was Lynn’s star defender at the tournament, catching Cottenham’s players in the third game. Lynn lost this one 2-6, but without Joe’s and Miles’s excellent play in mid rink, the team could have lost their spirits. Miles and Ria scored in the second half.

Sudbury won the last game 1-6, as Joshua scored.

The team has developed a lot over the year and thanks MKM for their support.
