Eleven-year-old Mollie Patterson from Brancaster Staithe after a great start to the season has moved up to number two in the October National Ranking list for Under 13 Girls and in the Cadets moved up from number 21 to 14.

She also qualified for the National Championships in the Cadet Girls to be held at the end of November.

It was the second round of Lynn League matches in the Barrett Team Doubles this week.

In the Premier Division, the Heacham team of Mollie Patterson, James Patterson and Mark Dare beat Avengers 6-3. James and Mollie Patterson won all three of their matches on the night.

Ziggy’s, who had Steve Barrett, Allan Nicholls and John Blyth playing, beat the Walton Highway ‘B’ side of Paul Reed, Craig Pack and Graham Sheppard 9-0.

St James (Owen Turner, Mark Pearman and Howard Lupton) beat Nets and Edges 6-3, Nets had Alan Jones, Steve Goodale and Ross Brown playing.

Walton Highway A’s Grant Brighty, Peter Munch and Mike Crowson beat the Runcton Holme A side of Jerry Irving, Tim Hines and John Mingay 5-4.

In the First Division, Ambit Projects (Graham Rogerson, Lewis Baldock and Dave Whitby) beat Swaffham Terriers (Peter Fysh, Peter Nunn and Keith Richardson) 8-1.

Paul’s Driving School side of Steve Hunt, Robert Penny and Paul Barrett beat Wasps’ Liam Irlam, Steve Mason and David Hughes 6-3.

Heacham B’s Mary Anne Woodhouse, Mick Ruffles and David Howell beat Runcton Holme 7-2. Runcton had Dave Wearing, Steve Bailey and Graham Warren playing.

Greenfingers (Gordon Penny, Graham Keeley and Mike Cooper) beat Runcton Holme B (Chris Snell, Alan Fuller and Carol Parker) 9-0.
