Some 80 King’s Lynn Golf Club members played in the Captains’ Drive-In Greensomes mixed event competition on Sunday.
Overall the event was very successful and an enjoyable day for all.
Money raised was £355, for the captains’ charities: the British Heart Foundation and Papworth Trust.
The captains thank all for taking part in this annual competition, with an encouraging full house start of the year.
The weather was dry but only a slight chill in the air.

l The Captain’s Farewell ends a very busy year for the KLGC ladies’ captain, Pat Arnold.
Some 57 ladies took part in a nine-hole stableford competition and retired to the clubhouse to meet with the ladies’ captain.
Pat thanked those present for her enjoyable year and presented the prizes to the winners.
