Ryston Park Golf Club Seniors entertained Dereham, Fakenham and Feltwell in the final round of the 9 Hole Alliance Competion.

In a hard match against Fakenham they managed to halve the match and retain the trophy, ably led by 2015 vice captain Graham Child (now senior captain for 2016).

l King’s Lynn Golf Club have new club captains for 2016.

New incoming ladies’ captain Maggie Clarkson said: “I consider it to be an honour and privilege to be the Lady Captain of King’s Lynn Golf Club.

“Also I am so happy to give something back to the sport I love and have got so much pleasure from.”

New incoming mens’ captain Kwai Li said: “I am excited and looking forward to working with all the club staff, committee members and lady captain. I feel deeply privileged.

“Thank you to all members, supporters and David Lawman (club captain 2015) for asking me to be vice-captain during last year.”

Kwai Li’s first golf club was Middleton Hall. He joined KLGC 19 years ago and now has a playing handicap of 8.

Originally from Hong Kong, China, he came to Lynn during the late 1970’s.

He has been involved with community voluntary works in West Norfolk, particularly with Chinese communities.
