Stock Car and Banger Racing returns to the Adrian Flux Arena in Lynn tomorrow (5.30pm start) when the 2L Stock Cars, 1500cc Bangers and Lady Bangers are all in action.
World Champion Simon Welton (Norwich) was in dominant form in the 2L Stock Cars here a fortnight ago when he won the Clive Grief Memorial.
Lee Sampson (Lynn) had a decent night, picking up several good places and will be looking to be on the pace tomorrow once again.
Fellow star grader Willie Skoyles missed the opening Lynn meeting but following a victory at Stoke last weekend will be in action this Saturday and will be looking to keep the winning run going!
The 1500cc Bangers will be in action for the first meeting of the 2017 season proper.
Hopes for local success will be strong with a large number of our local drivers in action.
Terry Garrod (Swaffham) will be looking to get his points challenge on track as he guns for another title.
Brother Jack (Swaffham), who was victorious in the Entertainer League last year, will no doubt be in the thick of the action as he aims to retain his title.
Lynn father and son duo Russell and Callum Gill had a good year in 2016 with Callum in particular rising up the grades with a series of fantastic drives and race wins.
Both will be looking to make a solid start to 2017.
Other local drivers in action in the 1500cc Bangers include Alex Smith, Steven Pope (both Fakenham), Shaun Clarke, Andy Frost, Kieran Bowman, Karl Thorpe, Chris Loveridge, Mark Bear and Simon Eglen (all Lynn).
Completing the action are the Lady Bangers.
