West Norfolk AC athletes travelled to Peterborough for round four of the Southern Athletics League where the strong team braved the weather for a brilliant third place finish.

Leigh Robertson ran a superb sub-60 second 400m.

Making her first appearance this year, Rebecca Cousins didn’t disappoint with a massive personal best 800m and first place finish.

Ben Collison was pleased with his second place in the 1500m and Cameron Ross continued his good run of form in the 100m and 200m.

Adam Dewdney had a good 200m in 29.8.

Nicky Neill showed grit and determination in the 800m with an excellent 1st B string 800m (2.28.7).

Despite falling, Matthew Bailey still ran a impressive 110m Hurdles and 100m in 11.9.

Katrina Wasteney ended the day on a high with first place finishes in the 5000m and Steeplechase.

Making her season debut, Bryony Normanton had a competitive third in the Long Jump and 1500m. Jack Pishorn had his normal busy day at the field events.

Despite a strong head wind James Greenhalgh stormed the 110m Hurdles, missing first by only seven hundredths of a second to clinch second.

Having a very competitive track season Hannah Greenhalgh competed strongly in the 200m (29.2) and picked up first in the Triple Jump.

Simon Robertson ran well in the 800m and 1500m
