Twelve students from Smithdon High School in Hunstanton have completed a six-week archery course supported by an Alive Leisure Sportslink grant.
The course was led by coach Duffy Dowle with the support of instructor Abbie Fisher who is the current County Ladies champion and in 2013 finished third in the national series.
It is now hoped that some of the students will go on to join a local club and further their archery skills.
Meanwhile, a group of 18 junior referees (who are also pictured) from Smithdon High completed the FA Laws of the Game course.
The course was led by Barry Knight from Norfolk FA who complimented the students on their knowledge and attitude to the course. Once qualified, the students will have the opportunity to use their skills by supporting the Smithdon cluster of Primaries at forthcoming football matches and tournaments.
