Suzanna ‘Fitz’ the bill for King’s Lynn martial arts medal haul

Local fighters from the Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do won medals at the TAGB Midlands Championships 2016 at Kettering Sports Village.'The Mark Farnham Schools provided 59 competitors, from a total of 800, and well over 60 spectators who all travelled over on the day.'The Schools now look forward to the World Championships in July at the NIA in Birmingham where they have more than 3,000 competitors over 40 countries taking part.

The Mark Farnham Schools provided 59 competitors, from a total of 800, and more than 60 spectators who all travelled over on the day.

Some 15 fighting areas ran throughout the day. These students took part in Pattern, Sparring and Team Sparring events and also for the Black Belts Destruction.

Results, Lynn: Suzanna Fitzgerald Girls Green Belt Sparring 1st, Green Belt Team Sparring 3rd; Carl Grimes Mens Black Belt Sparring 3rd; Harry Russell Boys Red Belt Sparring 2nd; Charlotte Scott Ladies Black Belt Sparring 1st, Black Belt Team Sparring 3rd.
