Three members of Happidojo Marham Judo Club travelled to Kidderminster to compete at the highest British Championships for their age groups.

Head coach Colin McCallum competed at the British Masters Championships, in the M2 U90kgs category, where he managed to come fifth. In the Open Dan Grade competition he secured bronze in his category for 1st Dan, earning himself more points towards his 2nd Dan.

Cameron McCallum and Tae Charlesworth competed in the British Championships for 10 and 11 year-olds. Cameron sprained his ankle just before competing, but came fifth at his first-ever Nationals.

Tae (23kgs), having to compete in the U28kgs category, was up against a Scottish girl – much heavier and taller than her – in a best of three matches. Tae won three times, securing gold at her first-ever Nationals.
