A massive win for King’s Lynn United away to King’s Lynn RBL in the Norfolk Super League first match of the season on Sunday.

The derby saw KL United Men winning 6-1 with a 21.75 team average.

Wins for: Ady Johnson 3-0, Chris Knevett 3-1 (180), (165), Pat Dix 3-0 136gs with 22.10av, Shaun Bitson 3-0 with 24.24av, Roger Berney 3-0 with 24.69av (180).

Brian Goffart was unlucky, falling 3-2 to Martin Wake with plenty of tons scored.

In the final clash of big guns, MoM Craig Venman beat Mark Easter 3-0 with 26.37av and (102gs), Mark’s average was a respectable 24.38.

KL United Ladies won 3-1.

Scores: Alison Ransom won 3-0 116, Nikki Allen won 3-2 114, 140. Becky Cullen won 3-1 100. Sandra Knevett lost 3-2 to Tracey Baldwin who hit scores of 100, 120, 125.

The next game is at home to Yarmouth on September 20 at the KL Workers Club, 6pm draw. All players to be present before the draw.

There is also an open Darts Knockout at the Workers Club on Sunday with an 8pm draw.
