In the IBA Ltd KLTTA League week 23, Wasps were too strong for Wisbech and despite some close games Steve Mason, Steve Goodale and Mike Crowson romped to a 10-0 win.

Heacham had James and Mollie Patterson plus Mark Dare to thank for a whitewash against a very strong St. James team of Owen Turner, Howard Lupton and Mark Pearman.

Wayne Mason led from the front with a maximum for Pegg Scaffolding against a plucky Avengers side.

Two wins each for Don Dixon, Jim Defty and Martin Allen gave Avengers a 6-4 win.

Wisbech Wizards beat Wisbech Hawks 7-3 with Alan Ashberry unbeaten for Wizards and Peter Munch added two wins.

In form Craig Pack was unlucky not to get a maximum for Hawks losing out in a five-ender against Ashberry. Graham Sheppard had a good win against Grant Brighty.

A strong Ambit Projects side of Graham Rogerson, Rob Rix and David Whitby extended their lead at the top of Division One to 21 points with a 10-0 win against Swaffham Terriers.

Second place is far from certain with three points separating the next three teams.

A Phil Brown maximum helped Pauls Driving School hang on to second place in their 7-3 win against Greenfingers.

Wasps 2 closed the gap to a point with a 8-2 win against Runcton Holme B. Igors Sccekalevs was unbeaten for Wasps.

Runcton Holme are still in with a shout with a 7-3 win against Heacham A. John Mingay starred for Runcton and had good support from Graham Warren and Melvyn Jupp.

Leigh McDonald responded for Heacham with two wins and David Woolley added a win against Warren.

Spin Doctors had a good battle against Blades with Gary Wiggs scoring a maximum and Roger Chilvers and John Wiggs picking up two wins each. Dan Vertigan had another good week with two wins for Blades.

Pauls Driving School progressed in the Pegg Scaffolding Handicap Cup against Blades.

Despite having to give Blades a 120 start, Phil Brown, Steve Hunt and Paul Barrett managed to win 404-388.

Danny Vertigan, Alex Bragg and Max Smith battled hard for Blades.
