In the final Quadkids event that took place at Lynnsport on Sunday there were a number of young West Norfolk AC athletes participating.

Not only did he win the event on the day, running a 75m in 12.0, 600m in 2:04, and achieving a standing jump of 1m83 and vortex throw of 26m19; he also was also the top performer in the Quadkids series over the four events.

In the year 4 and 5 Girls category Holly Lawrence performed consistently well over the whole series and came fourth on the day running a 75m in 12.1, 600m in 2:08, producing standing jump of 1m75 and vortex throw of 15m78.

The club would like to thank Kate Bamfield who will be standing down after five years co-ordinating of Quadkids and all the officials and helpers on the day.
Junior Ryston Runners athletes were also in action as 16 of them competed in the final and home leg of the Athletics Norfolk Quad Kids Series at Lynnsport.
Bailey Took, in the older of the Boys age groups, finished second overall athlete on the day, but that was enough to take the overall series win for his age group. His clubmate Charlie Wakefield won the overall athlete for the day for this age group.
In the Younger Boys age group David MacQueen finished second on the day and overall in series, a highlight being improving his Vortex PB by 4m to 24.32m.
