Four West Norfolk AC athletes made the trip to Harrow after being selected to compete for Team Norfolk in the Youth Development League Premier Division.
The athletes compete as part of a composite team with other clubs within the county.
Jude Faulkner made her debut in this event throwing 25.30m in the hammer for fourth and 14.48 in the discus for fifth, both A string.
Lucy Edwards jumped a fine PB in the triple jump (9.78) for A string third and also showed some real improvement in her long jump with 4.58m for fourth, again the A string.
Edwards also took part in the 4x100m relay.
Emma Dewdney placed third in the Pole Vault A string with 2m and went on to gain some excellent points in the triple jump (8.30m) and also in the 100m where she competed in the older under 20 age group, placing third in 14.4 against a headwind.
Rahim Benson showed a real step up in class running an excellent 400m hurdles in 62.4, for second place overall in a new personal best.
Benson also ran well in the 100m hurdles placing third in 15.5. Team Norfolk won the overall fixture.
The next event is in Stevenage on May 29 when the team should be bolstered by some athletes not available for this first event.
