The West Norfolk Tennis League held their annual presentation and AGM, presenting the trophies to the winners for the 2015 season.

It was another very successful season with more than 30 teams competing across West Norfolk throughout the summer of 2015.

All categories are split over two divisions and the West Norfolk Ladies based in North Runcton continued their fine run of form by winning the league, dropping only two points.

The Men’s top division was won this year by Wisbech who beat KES A in the final match to take the title. Other winners were Great Massingham A taking the Ladies Division Two title with maximum points and they are now looking forward to life in the top division.

The Men’s League Two winners were KES C which was a very young side made up of mainly under 18 players who performed really well against their more experienced opponents.

In the Mixed leagues West Norfolk took the Division One title again with maximum points and the Division Two winners were KES A.

All the clubs are now looking forward to the forthcoming season which starts in April and if anyone is interested in getting back into tennis or they are a complete beginner please contact Jeremy Hodges at KES Community Tennis Centre on 01553 692949 or e-mail and he will put you in touch with a club near you.

KES will also be running an Easter tennis camp and competitions for all ages the week commencing Monday, April 4, so please contact the Centre for more information.
