Under 11 rugby

On a cold winter’s morning West Norfolk hosted Wymondham for three matches of rugby.

West were given a stern test, and all three games were closely fought out.

The first match was a tight 1-1 draw, the second Wymondham won 3-0 but the score doesn’t reflect how tight that match was, and the last match by far the best to watch was 3-3.

West displayed good team work with some good passing, running and rucking, on the day the two teams seemed to cancel each other out. All in all it was a good test for the team and showed promise and areas to work on for the future.

Team: Alan, Felix, Danny, Jack, Elan, Hobie, Charlie, Edward, Matthew, Ryan and Archie. Try scorers on the day were: Charlie, Danny, Jack and Matthew.

It was good to see Danny back on the score-sheet after West’s first major injury (a broken hand back in October that kept him on the sidelines for six weeks).

Next match is Norwich away on Sunday.
