Wednesday 10TT, August 12

Some 30 riders of different ages turned up wanting to have a go at the penultimate club 10 TT on a very breezy summer’s evening.

The oldest KLCC rider was Albert Gravenor and did a time of 38.42.

Matthew Senter continues to dominate the time trial, being first rider home in a time of 22.05, followed this week by Simon Hardy in 24.02.

Lap of Anglia 2015

Club members Roy Clayton and Paul Freear joined other cyclists from the region in a four-day challenge for East Anglian Air Ambulance Charity.

They cycled 100 miles each day for four days for charity.

Freear commented: “It was such a privilege to ride with a bunch of awesome people and a big thank you to the organisers and supporters of the event.”

KLCC Fun Day, September 5

There will be an opportunity for non-members to take part in a KLCC club event 10-mile time trial on the club’s Tottenhill course – £3 pay on the day. Guests welcome to come along and try. Signing on is 12.30pm to 1.30pm. First rider away at 2pm.

The National Escort Motorcycle Group seen in The Tours of France, Britain and Spain will lead the riders out alongside support vehicles in the KLCC 50-mile road race through the villages of Grimston, Gayton and Great Massingham on October 18.
