Youngsters Archie and Aaron scoop Fakenham league awards

Two young players from the Fakenham & District Table Tennis League were presented with awards at the AGM.

Archie Rayner, 13, was awarded the Most Improved Player of the Season after his impressive displays and wins throughout the league season. Sixteen year-old Aaron Howell also picked up a trophy after he was voted Sports Person of the season together with his consistent play all year and sportsmanship.

These two players have regularly taken part in regional matches and tournaments during the year which has seen Archie gain a National Ranking in the under 13’s and Cadets age groups. He also represented North Norfolk Schools Partnership team who finished runners-up in the School County Finals.

To recognise their achievements the league have donated a small bursary to each of them to help with their travel arrangements to compete in more tournaments.
