More than 20 teams were represented at the West Norfolk Netball League’s annual meeting, including the Springwood team who were welcomed as new entrants to the league.

The league currently contains three divisions, playing both winter and summer seasons each year, with all games being played on the outside (all weather) courts at KES High School.

Chairperson Linda Rumbold said: ‘We have had some very competitive games this year and I would like to take this opportunity to congratulate the winners and runners up in all three divisions in both the Winter and Summer Leagues.

“We must not forget however that every team’s performance is integral to competition and the success of any league.”

Rumbold thanked the committee members for their work and support in the past year and also for their continued efforts to run the league in accordance with both national and local rules and with a view to continue improving netball for all concerned.

Trophies were presented to the winners and runners-up for both seasons.
