In the Premier Division of the IBA Table Tennis League, front runners Ziggy’s and St James clashed this week with Gary Hewitt again faultless for Ziggys in their 6-4 win.

Two-man Pegg Scaffolding had Wayne Mason to thank for a draw against Heacham.

Nets and Edges had Richard Johnson and Alan Jones unbeaten in a 9-1 win against Paul’s Driving School.

Avengers travelled to Walton Highway and came away with a convincing 7-3 win thanks to a Don Dixon maximum.

Terrington predictably won 10-0 against bottom side Ringstead and to open up a six-point lead at the top of Division One.

Second-place Runcton A entertained third-placed Walton Highway A and a Graham Sheppard maximum for Highway ensured the match finished all square.

Runcton Home had Dave Wearing and Melvyn Jupp unbeaten in a 8-2 win against Sedgeford.

Another Peter Fysh maximum inspired Swaffham Terriers to a 6-4 win against Green Fingers.

Wasps had a sting in their tail after travelling to Runcton B and handed out a 10-0 win, where Liam Irlam, Callum Brown and David Hughes did the damage.

Heacham B over powered Spiv’s Specials 9-1 with David Howell and Trevor Palmer unbeaten.

A Peter Donagh maximum ensured Spin Doctors won 6-4 against Heacham C.
