Sport - Tennis: Financial boost for tennis club

Burnham Market Tennis Club have received a financial boost of £600 from TalkTalk, Britain’s value home phone and broadband provider.

Chairman Ashley Rix, from Burnham Market Tennis Club, said: “We are very pleased that TalkTalk has chosen to support the club.

“The donation will help with the re-surfacing of the courts which will make a big difference to everyone at the club and for future members.”

Residents in Burnham Market and North Creake will also benefit from a £50,000 technology investment by TalkTalk, which is expanding its Next Generation Network to provide residents with access to fast, reliable, better value and more secure broadband.

Tristia Clarke, Commercial Director at TalkTalk said: “By investing in the exchange in Burnham Market, TalkTalk will be able to bring our great value offers to even more families in the area and give customers access to our fantastic security service HomeSafe.

“In this amazing Olympic year, TalkTalk is also delighted to be supporting sport at grassroots level up and down the country.
