Popular ex-Lynn rider holds testimonial

TOM P. Madsen has a star-studded line-up, including Great Britain skipper Scott Nicholls, for his Testimonial meeting at the Norfolk Arena tonight (7pm parade).

Madsen, still based locally, has been forced into a couple of changes for his meeting.

Lynn's winter signings Darcy Ward and Christian Henry have both withdrawn from the event, but Madsen has moved quickly to bring in Jesper Kristiansen and Emiliano Sanchez to fill the void.

The Dane spoke on the late changes: "Darcy, like a number of Australians at the moment, has experienced delays in getting his work permit sorted out.

"It's a real shame he can't be there, but it can't be helped.

"I've also received a phone call from Christian to say he has unfortunately had to pull out as well.

"Thankfully, my new Stoke team-mate, Jesper Kristiansen and Lynn new boy Emiliano Sanchez have both agreed to ride at short notice."

Admission: Adults 14, concessions 11, kids 12-15 6, 11 and under FREE. Programme (32 page, full colour) 3.
