The King’s Lynn Roger Warnes Transport Stars head into the club’s televised Elite League fixture clash against Lakeside tonight with a full strength side.
Main-body team member Nicklas Porsing is expected to make a full recovery from the crash he had on Thursday night against Poole, in order to take his place in the Stars lineup.
One member of the team who won’t be present for the fixture is team manager Rob Lyon, who misses the next three Stars meetings while he is on holiday. Young Stars boss Dale Allitt steps up to take charge of the senior team and he can’t wait to get started.
“I am looking forward to taking charge of the Elite League team while Rob is away,” said Allitt.
“It is not the first time that I have taken charge of the senior team so I know what to expect.
“It will be business as usual on Tuesday and we want to start the season off with a victory, that is what we have set the target as.”
Lakeside will arrive at the Adrian Flux Arena with a new-look side for this year, spearheaded by Scandinavian duo Andreas Jonsson and Mikkel Bech. They welcome new arrivals Ashley Birks and Edward Kennett as well as returnees Kim Nilsson, Richard Lawson and Adam Ellis.
Gates at the Adrian Flux Arena will open at 6pm with the parade starting at 7.30pm.
