Defeat on Monday night means that the King’s Lynn Roger Warnes Transport Stars will be out for revenge tomorrow (Wednesday 22) when the Belle Vue Aces visit the Adrian Flux Arena, 7.30pm.
Lynn were beaten by the playoff chasing Aces 55-35 yesterday, a result that puts pressure on the team to deliver at home tomorrow night. The Stars have beaten Belle Vue at the Arena this season, but both teams have made changes since that seven-point win back in April.
Team manager Rob Lyon has kept his side unchanged for the fixture, and he is hopeful that in-form Robert Lambert (pictured) can make a return to the team and get back to his solid point scoring.
Lyon said: “Hopefully Robert will be back from his crash at Berwick a couple of weeks ago and we will be back to full strength to see off the Aces. Buster prepared a superb racing strip for the boys to perform on last week so more of the same this week would be great. All the team enjoyed it and produced a superb solid display.”
The visiting Aces, who also remain unchanged, will arrive at Saddlebow Road full of confidence after Monday night’s win, but the Stars haven’t been beaten at home all season, and they will be determined to keep hold of that record.
Gates will open at 6pm tomorrow with the first race taking place at 7.30pm.
